The Beach Team (or United Beach Missions) is busy all summer running activities for all the family on the beaches of the UK and Ireland (plus one or two places in mainland Europe).

We've been operating since 1953 and each team is made up of a bunch of willing volunteers from all walks of life – from plumber to professor, student to social worker. A Beach Team is made up of old and young, of extrovert and quiet.

 

The one thing that they have in common is a desire to share the good news of Jesus with the people they meet. The people who make up the Beach Team are all committed Christians, who are giving their time voluntarily to do this. Why not ask one of them about it? Our tagline is “Sharing the good news of Jesus’ and so they are unlikely to say no!
